Cosmic Starship is a free 3D space battle game that runs in your browser. You fly the flagship of Earthforce through a 49-mission campaign across six galaxies, command up to six squads of fighters and bombers around you, and build a fleet of 49 warships from 14 civilizations. No download, no account and no payment: your progress is saved in your own browser.

What kind of game is it?
Cosmic Starship mixes an arcade space shooter with fleet command. In battle you pilot one capital ship directly: you fly it with the keyboard or a gamepad, aim and fire its main gun with the mouse and use four abilities. Around you, your squads fight on their own, and at any moment you can slow time, open command mode and give them orders: escort, attack, defend, hold or intercept. Between battles you upgrade your ships, fit mods, hire crews and warships at Meridian Station and decide where Earthforce goes next on the star chart.
Features
- A story campaign across six galaxies. 49 missions from Earth orbit to the Deep Veil, each chapter opened by an in-engine cutscene, with 9 boss battles that have their own phases and armour mechanics.
- 49 warships to fly. Carriers, dreadnoughts, stealth frigates, living reef ships, ring carriers and crystal cruisers, each with its own gun, passive, signature skill and ultimate power. See the warship guide.
- 14 mission types. Fleet clashes, convoy escorts, station defence, gate control, blockade runs, headhunts, ambushes and more. See game modes.
- Squad command. Six squads with ranks, formations, duties and crew skills, and a command mode that slows time so you can plan.
- A home base. Meridian Station grows with you: a market, a fabricator for building mods, a warship dock for hiring allies, expeditions and four expansion tracks you can see on the station itself.
- Online co-op. Two players can fight one battle together, each on their own device.
- Difficulty that grows with you. Six difficulties from Explorer to Cataclysm, then ten Threat levels for players who want more.
